Cashtyn is a local middle school student who is active in the arts through band, chorus, and drama. Her very first role with HCCT was Shanti in The Jungle Book, a summer camp production that sparked her love for theatre. Since then, she has performed across several community theatre stages and even took on the lead role of Ebenezer Scrooge in her school’s production of A Christmas Carol. Last fall, she returned to HCCT as Michael Banks in Mary Poppins, marking her first lead role in community theatre. This spring, she was especially proud to take on her dream role as Matilda, captivating audiences with her performance. Cashtyn has attended theatre summer camps for the past five years, and now also enjoys serving as a camp counselor, guiding younger kids who share her love of the stage. She is deeply grateful to her mom, dad, and siblings for their constant encouragement and support.
