Education and Engagement for All.

The Hart County Community Theatre is committed to using our facilities to encourage a love for the dramatic arts.

In the past few years, and especially during our 2020-2021 Season, there has been a major decline in audiences for the performing arts. There are many theories as to why this is happening: audiences are aging, becoming more interested in television and film, programming choices, and ticket prices. But we also know that being involved in theatre at a young age is an enormous predictor of future involvement in theatre as a performer, audience member, donor, and patron.

At Hart County Community Theatre, we are 100% committed to helping lay the groundwork for a future generation of theatre fans through a range of initiatives that give young people the chance to participate in the theatrical and dramatic arts. We are working to engage young people and help build the next generation of theatre artists and audiences, and it begins with education.

Theatre is community! And we want to be your community homeā€¦ we ARE your community theatre, after all.

We are always planning ahead and would love to utilize the theatre for any and all of the following. If you have any desire to help, or have ideas please reach out and connect in whatever way is best for you!
