2014 Annual Fund Drive Newsletter

October 31, 2014

Dear Friend,

Here at Hart County Community Theater, we are proud of the fact that we annually produce four quality shows:  a children’s play, a Christmas play, a drama and a musical. We also offer special events such as musical productions, blues nights, open mic nights, a children’s workshop, and the Night Before the Night Before.  We host occasions such as Tellabration and Chamber of Commerce After Hours, as well as being an active part of the Depot Street and downtown Hartwell communities.

Without a doubt, the best thing about our theater is the people within!  In the 35 years that we have been producing plays and shows, we have encouraged, mentored and groomed many young performers.  Some of these students have gone on to major in theater in college and/or become working actors or technicians in the theater.  This is indeed our greatest achievement!

Providing a venue for community members who are interested in exploring their talents is a thrill for us.   That is where you come in.

We need your help.  The cultural community faces tough times.  Maintaining a historical building provides challenges from the roof to the basement.  We recently did some overdue renovation to the main floor of the theater.  Along with physical needs, there are production rights to be paid, costumes to be constructed or rented, utilities and other random expenses.  A gift as small as $25.00 could buy a bucket of paint and would make you a Friend of the Theater!  Levels of giving are:  Angel:  $1000.00 and over, Patron:  $500.00-$999.00, Sponsor:  $100.00-$499.00 and Friend:  $25.00-$99.00.   As always we will be conservative stewards of your tax deductible donation.  Thank you for your fiscal and physical support of Hart County Community Theater!
