Our Season kicks off with our Annual Meeting on June 3rd. Come join us as we say relive the highlights of the past Season, induct our new Board members, and honor our departing Board Members for their service. Dinner will be served by Kim in the Kitchen. We are pleased to announce that this year’s Children’s Workshop will be Disney’s Aristocats Kids AND it will be a full day camp! Registration is June 2 from 10 AM- 2 PM. Camp Dates are June 11-15 9 AM – 5 PM. Performances will be June 15 and 16. Contact our box office for more information.
Relive the glory days of country music, Grand Ol’ Opry Style with our Summer Music Revue – In the Country of Music – featuring classic country music performances from the 30s through the 70s. Show Dates are July 13-15 & 20-22, 2018.
Deathtrap is the perfect Fall thriller. Written by Ira Levin (Rosemary’s Baby, Stepford Wives), this mystery will keep you guessing from beginning to end. Show Dates are September 14-16 & 21-23
Let’s do the Time Warp, Again!! We had so much fun at our midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show that we’ve decided to make this an annual event. Put on your best RHPS costumes, bring your friends, and lets have party! Games, Costume Contests, and more! Doors open at 10 PM and the movie starts at MIDNIGHT! October 19 & 20.
Our 4th Annual Harvey’s Haunted Theatre will be October 26 – 31, nightly starting at 7 PM. The cost is only $5 and the proceeds benefit our Children’s Theatre productions.
Join us for the Christmas classic, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, on November 30, December 1-2 & 7-9. This hilarious Children’s production is fun for the whole family!
Every year on December 23, HCCT offers The Night Before the Night Before as our annual gift to the community. Admission is free and doors open at 6 PM. We’ ll have cookies and cocoa, our famous Teddy Bear Raffle, a story reading, special music and a family sing-a-long plus a visit from Santa himself!! The fun starts at 7 PM.
Our musical offering for 2019 will be the Broadway smash hit, She Loves Me. Based on the Hungarian play, Parfumerie by MIklos Laszlo, this charming tale has been adapted several times for stage and screen, including the film You’ve Got Mail. Performances will be February 8-20 & 15-17.
HCCT will host V-Hartwell for their annual fundraiser event, The Vagina Monologues, to benefit Northeast Georgia Counsel on Domestic Violence. Date will be February 22 and 23 at 7 PM. The event will include raffle items donated by the community. All proceeds go to NEGACDV.
Our final production of the season will be the hilarious story of play gone horribly wrong, Noises Off. This rollicking comical farce by Michael Frayn will take you both onstage and backstage with this bumbling troupe of actors. Performance dates are April 19-21 and 26-28, 2019.
On top of our main stage productions, the theatre hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, including our monthly Karaoke night! We host them nights such as Game, Date, and Trivia nights. We also host other organizations like Southern Still’s Toys for Tots Benefit Concert every November.
