Elizabeth “Lizz” Murphy

Elizabeth Murphy is proud to serve as a Board Director for Hart County Community Theatre and is thrilled to be back on stage in this production of Into the Woods. Behind the scenes, she has directed several HCCT productions including Matilda the Musical, Cheaper by the Dozen, and And Then There Were None. On stage, audiences may remember her as Belinda in Noises Off, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Wynni in Mr. Long Said Nothing, and Cynthia in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical(Savannah River). She also appeared in the ensemble of The Wizard of Oz. Elizabeth is not only dedicated to the theatre but also to her most important role as mother to two wonderful children. Her love of theatre both onstage and off continues to resonate through every production, and she is grateful to share that passion with her family, fellow artists, and the HCCT community.
